Pure essential oils are a popular way to treat blemishes without harsh chemicals or add a soft natural fragrance to unscented lotions. Try these tips and remember to always dilute your essential oils properly. Everyone is different and they may irritate your skin. Carrier oils like Fractionated Coconut Oil work well for dilution purposes.
A few drops of Tea Tree Oil mixed with Aloe Vera Gel can soothe blemishes.
Apply a drop of Lemon Oil, Tea Tree Oil or Orange Oil to skin and wiping away gently with a cotton ball. Dilute if necessary according to your skin care needs.
Rub 5-7 drops of Lavender Oil into your scalp to help reduce dandruff.
For an awakening toner, combine 4 drops of Lemon Oil and 3 drops of Lavender Oil with 3 tablespoons of water. Apply mixture to face using a cotton ball.
